Scott spent 15 years as an executive for large companies including CNN, AT&T, Time Inc., and the Weather Channel, in a variety of product, business development and operational roles, primarily focused on developing and scaling new consumer facing businesses and technologies.
On the entrepreneurial side, Scott is a two-time founder and has held multiple C-level and board roles with start-ups in the health tech, bio tech, legal, media and advertising verticals. Scott has advised venture capital funds and lectured on go to market strategy for the UC Berkeley Blockchain Accelerator.
Scott is currently a Member of the Board of Directors for two non-profit organizations, The Dekleptocracy Project, an investigative journalism non-profit focused on fighting corruption, and the Association of War Zone Contractors, the first organization created to support US civilian military contractors.
Whistleblower and Qui Tam Expertise
Scott has spent the past 5 years supporting individual whistleblowers and groups, including transparency organizations, investigative journalists and open source intelligence (OSINT) communities, around the world to bring complex whistleblower cases to the US government for prosecution.
Education and Bar Admissions
Scott received a JD and MBA from the University of Florida, and a BS in Marine Biology from the University of Miami. He is admitted to the Florida and the US District Court, Middle District of Florida bars.
